This is in response to “Feels left out from criticism” by Paul H. Miller on Oct. 27.
Thank you, Paul, for identifying yourself as the vice chairman of the Riverfront Commission. I’m sure this will help us to more accurately aim our “scatter gun.” It should also help shorten the “diatribe” endured by the Riverfront’s chairman, et al.
It may also explain to the citizens of Dixon the special treatment received by the Riverfront’s executive manager. (Good “ole” boys and girls; nepotism, I wonder?)
Several of the former volunteers on the Riverfront committee thought you were lying low for fear of retaliation to your phone “warnings.” By the way, we thought you were still in your “salad days;” however, we thought you would look much better in your ’57 Chevy than on a Harley with a turban on your head.
Once again, we thank you for allowing us to “help ourselves to you.” Remember, we did not admit that you did something stupid. Just saying.
Note to readers – Stan Wolzen is a former volunteer on the Riverfront committee.
