John ‘Jack’ Deering III

PAW PAW – John “Jack” Deering III, 56, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

He was born July 30, 1956, in Chicago, the son of John and Mildred (Janda) Deering Jr. Jack loved to travel, especially to visit his children. He loved most his visits to the mountains of Utah. 

He is survived by his children, Katie (Jeff Milton) Hadley of Paw Paw, Cassie (Jonathan) Rice of Salt Lake City and Charles “Chip” (Jenna) Deering of Anacortes, Wash.; grandchildren, Marcus, Becky, Tony, Olivia, Jeff and Jack; his father, John Deering Jr.; siblings, Penny (Pete) Pappas and Pat (Dee) Deering; and the mother of his children, Chris Deering. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred. 

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Paw Paw Community Building, 362 Chicago Road. Torman Funeral Home in Paw Paw handled arrangements.
