OREGON – James W. “Jim” Wakenight III, a lifelong Oregon resident, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.

He was born July 4, 1983, in Dixon, the son of James Jr. and Wendy (Fraley) Wakenight. He was a 2001 graduate of Oregon High School, and had been employed by Quebecor Printing in Mount Morris. Jim enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, music, playing his guitar and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his father, Jim Wakenight Jr. of Mount Morris; mother, Wendy Wakenight of Oregon; son, Zander; daughters, Victoria, Brooklyn and Alexiah; fiancé, Brittany Schwartz of Oregon; sister, Chasity Wakenight of Oregon; paternal grandparents, Jim Sr. and Shirley Wakenight of Oregon; and nephew, Kaydn Sage.
