DIXON – James M. Gardner, 44, of Dixon, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at his home. He was a carpenter for 25 years at Raynor Manufacturing in Dixon.

James was born July 18, 1968, in Dixon, the son of James and Donna (Bain) Gardner. He married Kellie Wallace on June 1, 1991, in Dixon.

Survivors include his wife, one son, Justin Michael and one daughter, Jessica Marie, all of Dixon; his father, James (Karen) Gardner of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and one sister, Lori (Brian) Muraski of Michigan.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Magnafici; and stepfather, Gene Magnafici.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
