MORRISON – Helen F. Tolbert, 85, of Morrison, formerly of Amboy, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Resthave Home in Morrison.

She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Fredonia, Ky., the daughter of Louis E. and Ruth (Bibb) Jones. Helen married Raymond R. Tolbert on March 3, 1945, in Chester. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1984. She had been a member of Central Christian Church in Dixon.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Richard) Fore of Cary, N.C., and Susan (Charles) Vilmont of Clinton, Iowa; five grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Fore, Dr. Ami Harris, Michael Barlow, Jeffrey Barlow and Thomas Barlow; several stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren, Spencer Fore, Madelyn Fore, Rosemary Fore, Julian Claxton, Elliot Barlow and Megan Barlow; several step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joann Nelson of Mount Vernon.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Steven, and a daughter, Ruth Ann, both in infancy; and two brothers, James and Charles Jones.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy, with Ken Renkes, director of congregational care at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Resthave Home in Morrison.
