ROCK FALLS – The Bulldogs believe someday researchers will find a cure for cancer.

The East Coloma School District athletic department is hosting a “Pink Night” Nov. 19, during the fifth- and sixth-grade basketball games, to raise money for breast cancer research.

The games start at 5 p.m.

Kindergarten through fourth-grade boys will play mini basketball between games, about 6 p.m., and kindergarten through fourth-grade girls will serve as cheerleaders during halftime of the first game, about 5:30 p.m.

The crowd will be decked out in special pink “Bulldogs Believe” T-shirts, which are available for $12 through the school.

The athletic department plans to donate proceeds from the event to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion.

For more information, call the school at 815-625-4400.
