FULTON – A Red Cross blood drive to help alleviate shortages brought about by Hurricane Sandy will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Fulton High School, 1207 12th St.

About 300 blood drives in 14 East Coast states were canceled because of the hurricane, resulting in a shortfall of about 9,000 units of blood and platelets.
