DIXON – Donaldson employees generated $11,000 for the United Way of Lee County’s 2012 campaign, and the corporate gift from Donaldson may double that number, the agency said Wednesday in a news release.

So far, the Lee campaign has raised $165,000 or 38 percent of its $440,000 goal. With only 10 days to go until the final report session on Nov. 9, United Way leaders are urging everyone to submit their pledge or donation in the next week.

“Our agencies need this money,” says Katie Dallam-Pratt, UWLC board president. “We’re down to the wire, and we need everyone to donate now.”
