Woman injured in crash with cows

MOUNT MORRIS – A 34-year-old Mount Morris woman was hospitalized after crashing into a small herd of cattle around 8:35 p.m. Monday, killing all four animals, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release Tuesday.

Elisa Vilovchik was westbound in the 2700 block of Mud Creek Road just east of the village when her car hit the cows, which were standing in the road. She was taken to KSB Hospital in Dixon, the release said.

No other details were available Tuesday.
