SVM to have debate on sales tax question

DIXON – Proponents and opponents of a proposed 1 percent sales tax increase in Lee County will participate in a debate at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with the Sauk Valley Media Editorial Board.

The debate will be broadcast live online at saukvalley.com. A video of the full debate will be available for viewing on the site until Election Day. The sales tax question is on the Nov. 6 ballot in Lee County.

During the debate, readers can submit questions for debate participants on our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/saukvalley.
