STERLING – Patricia Ann Dawson, 83, of Sterling, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Good Neighbor Care Center in Sterling.

Patricia was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Rochelle, the daughter of George and Ethel (Biederstedt) Trenholm. In 1950, Patricia married her teenage sweetheart, Joseph Dawson, with whom this past January, she celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Pat worked as a maintenance secretary at Northwestern Steel and Wire Co., and then as maintenance secretary at Sauk Valley Community College, from where she retired in 1993. 

Surviving are her husband, Joseph; her sister, Pauline of Loveland, Colo.; her daughter, Nancy Jo of Grand Junction, Colo.; and son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Gay of Bozeman, Mont.
