MOLINE – Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, a Democrat, is endorsing state Sen. Mike Jacobs, D-East Moline, for re-election in the 36th legislative district, he said Monday in a news release. 

White called Jacobs “a leader and fighter for his district.”

“Sen. Jacobs has secured over $530 million for his district for infrastructure and road improvement, and most importantly to invest in the local schools,” White said. “These funds created jobs that kept unemployment in this area at the lowest rate in the state.”
