Ryden LeGrand, kindergarten; Abigail Benson, first grade; Ella Benson, second grade; Destiny Ness, third grade; Myah Casey, fourth grade; Sera Dalki, fifth grade; Johnathan Herendeen, resource and special education; Jillian Hanson, Title 1; and Alexander Johnston, PE.

Alyssa Allen was the IVVC student of the month for health occupations – exploring medical careers.

Sen. Tim Bivins, R-Dixon, joined with many of his fellow Senate Republicans this week to reject a pension bill sponsored by Democratic Senate President John Cullerton of Chicago. The measure passed 40-16. Bivins had a different reason for his no vote.
