Mendota hospital to offer health screenings

MENDOTA – Mendota Community Hospital will have hemoglobin A1c screenings from 6 to 10 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Community Health Services Department.

The cost is $20. Fasting is not necessary and results will be available immediately.

Hemoglobin A1c is a blood test, which reveals blood sugar levels over a 3-month period.

Appointments are required; to sign up, call the hospital.
