Local facility’s service made reunion special

Newman High School’s Class of 1967 recently held its 45th class reunion at Kapp’s Banquet Facility in Rock Falls. I was so impressed with the facility.

It has a beautiful bar and plenty of room, but what really made the night special was Marty Kapp and his staff. Marty was so easy to work with. Whatever we wanted, he helped make it happen.

The staff was great, and we appreciated the fact they were all dressed professionally, especially the bartender, Tino. It just set the tone for the evening. The food was fabulous; thanks to Joe Hunt for preparing it.

I didn’t realize what a great place we had in Rock Falls until I started planning the reunion. So I just wanted to share my thoughts.
