Improve your community by voting ‘yes’

The hallmark of every great community is its desire to become better while improving the quality of life for its citizens. Dixon has an opportunity to enhance who we are through the proposed 1 percent sales tax and the Dixon Sports and Activities Center.

The center will allow for greater resources not only for the children in our community, but it also will be a place for people of all ages. The center will become not only a great recreational and educational facility, but it also will be a dynamic tool in recruiting future businesses and industries, as well as future neighbors and friends.

Whoever may be looking to Dixon for their future will see that our community is on the cutting edge when it comes to forward thinking and progress. We will use the center as a resource that brings in visitors who will spend their money in our local businesses (estimated at $2.5 million a year, according to a study by the Docking Institute of Public Affairs).
