Democrats are looking out for you

Why should you vote for Democrats? The first reason is that they look out for the 99 percent who aren’t millionaires or billionaires. They believe in the 47 percent Romney feels no responsibility for. The average working person, veterans, school teachers and senior citizens fit in this category.

One of President Obama’s major accomplishments is the Affordable Health Care Act. Now the insurance companies cannot cancel your coverage because of pre-existing conditions or place caps on your cost for medical costs, and now your child without health care coverage can stay on the parents’ policy until age 26. This is only part of the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. Another one will be the elimination of the doughnut hole.

A vote for Cheri Bustos will help ensure the people in these United States of America will have health care. Bobby Schilling has bragged many times of voting against Obamacare. Bobby Schilling also has supported Republicans for office, such as Aikens from Missouri, who [talked about] legitimate rape, and Mourdock from Indiana, who [said a child conceived in] rape is an act of God.

Wise saw collapse in support

Last week, Sterling Alderwoman Amy Viering attended her last meeting as a city official. She gave the usual praise one hears at such departures. But one compliment stuck out. At the end of her speech, she turned to City Administrator Scott Shumard and said, "You're awesome."
