Dean A. Bealer
FENTON – Dean A. Bealer, 91, of 11240 Third St., Fenton, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at his home. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural letter carrier for 35 years.
Dean was born June 22, 1921, in Fenton, the son of Wayne E. and Alice E. (Pyse) Bealer. He joined the Navy during World War II, serving as a radio specialist, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He married Jacqueline I. “Jackie” Kier on Feb. 20, 1944, in Morrison. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 2001. He later married Kathy A. Dykema on Sept. 11, 2004. He was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marcia (Randall) Hekman of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Patricia MacDonald of Laguna Beach, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
