Hot Shot hoops contest Saturday

ROCK FALLS – Coloma Township Park District’s 34th annual Hot Shot basketball competition begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Merrill Elementary School, 600 Fourth Ave.
The competition is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18 years, and there are two adult divisions, men 19 and older and women 19 and older. Players will shoot baskets from five “hot spots” on half a basketball court, with a 1-minute time limit.
The cost is $1 per player. Registration forms are available at the park district office, 508 E. 11th St., or at the school gym just before the start of the comeptition. Call the park district, 815-625-0272, or stop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday for more information.
