STERLING – Harold F. Glazier, 89, of Sterling, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at his home. He worked from January 1951 to January 1986 in the petroleum division of Whiteside F.S. in Lyndon.

Harold was born May 15, 1923, in Broadland, S.D., the son of Rex A. and Lyda A. (Vaughn) Glazier. He joined the Army Air Force in December 1942. He married Agnes E. Johnson on Aug. 15, 1964, in Morrison. She preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 2011. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison.

Survivors include one son, Kurt (Roxanne) Glazier of Sterling; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Keith (Mary Ann) Glazier of Tucson, Ariz.

He also was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Vollenweider, Ethel Bowen and Mary Warner; and two brothers, Everett Glazier and Floyd Glazier.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mike Winkelman, associate pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Lyndon Township Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison and Passages Hospice in Rockford.
