MORRISON – Diann L. Landheer, 62, of 302 S. Base St., Morrison, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Iowa City Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Iowa City, Iowa.

Diann was born Jan. 6, 1950, in Sterling, the daughter of Donald J. and Alva Mae (Shook) McFadden. She served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Diann married Gary F. Landheer on Oct. 3, 1980, in Dixon.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Patric (Daveena) Williams and Sam McPeak, both of Dixon; two stepdaughters, Andrea Landheer and Jamie Landheer, both of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Liola (Raymond) Pitts, Jane “Genie” Koster, Donna (Ken) Scott, Rhonda McFadden and Lynn Rosyln Frasu.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert J. McPeak III; one daughter, Carrie Williams; two sisters, Eileen Mitchell and Patti Jo Ransom; and five brothers, Dean, Dale, Bob, and Alvin Hinrichs and Donald McFadden.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, with the Rev. Dan Schenck, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, officiating.

A memorial has been established by the family.
