ROCK FALLS – Antonio “Tony” Leal, 58, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at his home. He worked for 25 years at Henry Pratt Co. in Dixon.

He was born Jan. 24, 1954, in Savanna, a son of Toribio and Nestoria (Rodriguez) Leal. He served in the Army. He married Darlene Stombaugh on Oct. 16, 2012, in Rock Falls.

Survivors include his wife and his mother, both of Rock Falls; two daughters, Tanya (Jeff) Steder of Sterling and Toni Leal of Aurora; four stepchildren, Peggy (David) Mickelson of Indiana, Paula (fiancé Steve Jackson) Barron of Rock Falls, and Patty (fiancé Scott Hall) Stombaugh and Matt Stombaugh, both of Sterling; four sisters, Jane (John) Espinoza and Julie (Jose) Herrera, both of Rock Falls, and Nora (Ruben Mata) Puentes and Rosemary (Bob) Mena, both of Sterling; six brothers, Ralph (Toni) Leal of Dixon, John (Carol) Leal of Morrison, Richard (Esther) Leal and Frank (Linda) Leal, both of Rock Falls, Joseph Leal of Sterling and David Leal of Florida; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
