Police looking for pedestrian robber in Sterling
STERLING – Police are looking for a man who they say implied he had a gun when he robbed a woman Tuesday.
Police were called to the 600 block of West 18th Street around 7:45 p.m., where a woman said she was walking north through a nearby grassy area when she was grabbed from behind by a man who threatened to kill her if she didn’t give him her money.
She gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away.
The man is husky, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and was wearing a dark-colored, long-sleeved shirt that may have been a hooded sweatshirt, police said.
