Elect Kovarik circuit clerk

I encourage readers to vote for Karl Kovarik for circuit court clerk. Karl is a humble person who wouldn’t tell readers himself what a devoted public servant he’s been for the past 25 years.

Karl has been a Whiteside County Fair Board member for 16 years, served as publicity director, and is now treasurer. Karl’s record keeping has been outstanding, accurate and organized.

Karl is an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Tampico, serves as trustee for the Tampico Fire Protection District, and has been a Morrison Rotary Club member for 15 years, now serving as treasurer. He’s active in Erie/Prophetstown sports boosters, is a proud father of two school-aged children, and has had a successful marriage to his wife of more than 20 years.

Karl has worked for Whiteside County since 1988, first as a probation officer with court services and now as the first 911 coordinator. For the past 16 years working for the 911 board, Karl has applied his knowledge of computer systems to keep our citizens safe with rapid and accurate communication technologies. He’ll bring those same technological skills to the circuit court clerk office. Karl has a bachelor’s degree from Luther College.

Kovarik is the best candidate for circuit court clerk. This is a man whose work has coordinated information technology with law enforcement, ambulance services, fire personnel and the general public while being on call to serve 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without complaint.

Please vote for Karl Kovarik for circuit court clerk.
