I’d like to share my experience with the people of Lee County. I stopped at a local bar and, upon entering, a female patron said something to me. I responded that I hadn’t heard what she said.

At this point, a much younger man than me, whom I later learned has a history of violence and arrests, came up and sucker punched me, knocking me to the floor. He punched my face and head about 20 times, which was caught on surveillance video.

Dixon police were called, a report was made, and the offender was later arrested and charged with battery.
