College information available Nov. 13
DIXON – College Night will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 13 in the west mall at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2.
Representatives from colleges, universities, vocational-technical schools and the military will be on hand with information on the institutions and programs.
Two informational workshops will be at 6 p.m. “Focusing Families on the Future” will be in the cafeteria. The workshop is for high school sophomores and their parents. Preparation for the college search, online resources and Sauk’s Dual Credit program will be discussed.
“Financial Aid” will be in Room 1K4. Topics will included financial aid opportunities and applications for student financial aid.
