SOURIS, N.D. – Arthur Mueller, 82 of Souris, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, N.D.

Arthur, a son of Louis and Alice (Knight) Mueller, was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Langdon, N.D.  He was reared on a farm near Dresden, N.D., and graduated from Langdon High School. He entered the Army on Sept. 9, 1948, and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on July 9, 1952. He married Anna Stingley on June 3, 1955, in Morrison. They made their home in Sterling, where Art worked at RB&W Manufacturing until his retirement in 1988. They spent the next few years traveling in their RV until they settled on a farm near Souris in 1992. Anna passed away Dec. 17, 2009. In 2010, Art moved into the Bottineau Good Samaritan Center in Bottineau, N.D.

Art was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards and dice.
