Two more jurors tapped; 9 to go
Case taking a break today; selection continues Thursday
MORRISON – Two more jurors – a man and a woman – were seated Tuesday in the Nicholas T. Sheley murder trial. That brings the number to six, with six jurors and three alternates to go.
The six are an Exelon employee, a retired hotel employee, a farmer, a retired businesswoman, a former volunteer firefighter, and a preschool teacher.
There will be no jury selection today because of felony pretrials. Fifty more prospective jurors will be questioned Thursday and Friday. The trial is slated to begin Monday.
