Early voting off to a good start, clerks say
MORRISON – Many took advantage of the opportunity to vote early Monday, the first day it was available, local county clerks said.
“We’ve been very busy today” – as of Monday afternoon, more than 100 people had cast early votes, Lee County Clerk and Recorder Cathy Myers said.
The number of votes cast in the state before Election Day could top records set 4 years ago, some officials predicted Monday.
