ROCK FALLS – Barry E. Fogarty, 68, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling. He worked at Lawrence Brothers Co. for 15 years.

He was born Dec. 24, 1943, in Evergreen Park, a son of James and Jane (Richmond) Fogarty. He married Sue Talcott on May 2, 1964. He later married Kathryn L. Williams on Oct. 14, 1989. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 2010. Barry was a member of Rock Falls Eagles Club and Rock Falls Optimist Club. He enjoyed spending time with his special canine friend, Molly.

Surviving are his son, Kevin Fogarty of Rock Falls; his daughter, Debbie Ottoviano of Lincoln, R.I.; his stepchildren, Kathy Hagerman, Donna (Ted) Hicks and Deann (Scott) Grove, all of Rock Falls, and Shirley Jean (Ron) Hall of Sterling; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; his sister, Jeannie (Ken) Poore of Evergreen Park; and two brothers, James (Mary) Fogarty of Chicago and Michael (Diane) Fogarty of Kansas City, Kan.
