ROCK FALLS – Patricia L. Stutzke, 89, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Sterling Pavilion. She was a supervisor at Prince Castle for 20 years, retiring in 1971.

She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Rushville, the daughter of Earl S. and Marion L. (Dunegan) Prince. She married Lawrence O. Stutzke in 1971. He preceded her in death in 1983. Patricia was a member of Sterling First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include three daughters, Christine (Donald) McBride of Sterling, Leslie (Paul) Lowrey of Peoria and Nancy Fliss of Utah; a son, Lowell Snitchler of California; a brother, Earl (Junetta) Prince of Sterling; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

She also was preceded in death by a son, Kim.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of her life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at her daughter’s home, 1909 W. Science Ridge Road, Sterling. Private burial will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls handled arrangements. 

Memorials have been established to Sterling First Presbyterian Church, Sterling First Church of the Nazarene and Gaffey Hospice.
