Church honors sacrifices of local law enforcement
STERLING – Members of a local church gathered Sunday morning to recognize the men and women in uniform who help keep the city’s streets safe.
As part of Blue and White Sunday, the Rev. Bryan Bice, pastor of First Baptist Church, led a special service to recognize the community’s law enforcement and corrections officers.
Part of Bice’s message to the officers was that they should be “commended for fulfilling their responsibilities.”
