HOFFMAN ESTATES – Sharon Kaye (née Donoho) Gari, 71, a resident of Schaumburg since 1979, formerly of Dixon, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Hoffman Estates, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 15, 1941, in Dixon, the daughter of Archie and Louise (Howell) Donoho. Kaye enjoyed playing family games, and had a passion for antiquing and going garage saleing.

Kaye was the adoring wife of 43 years to Joseph; loving mother of James (Jennifer), Kellie (Mark) Freeman and dear friend, Gregg O’Connor; fond grandmother of Wesley and Olivia Gari and Brian, Justin and Angela Freeman; beloved sister of Betty (Wayne) Albrecht; and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
