DIXON – United Way of Lee County has raised $73,785 of its $440,000 goal, volunteers report. That’s about 17 percent.

“Several major firms have started their campaigns to employees, and several are conducting campaigns later in October or in early November to coincide with the campaigns of their parent companies,” Sue Hohlen, UWLC executive director, said in a news release Thursday. 

Volunteers Amanda Burton and Darla Foulker are planning a United Way Trivia Night fundraiser for Nov. 29 at the Post House in Dixon. More details will be coming.
