So it's come down to this for the third straight year, to determine whether the Dixon Dukes or the Streator Bulldogs can close out their seasons with a lone NIB-12 West win.
The Bulldogs invade A.C. Bowers Field on Friday night looking to avenge Week 9 losses the last two seasons that sent Streator to back-to-back winless records overall and in conference play.
But Dixon's five senior captains also know what's at stake for the Dukes in the final game of their careers.
