U.S. must avoid preemptive war
Can we really afford another war? Do we really want to send more of our men and women overseas to die in preemptive wars of aggression? Sen. Lindsey Graham seems to think so.
Graham will be pressuring the Senate next month to pledge U.S. troops and money to Israel should Prime Minister Netanyahu decide to wage a “preventive war” on Iran.
Graham fails to acknowledge a few key facts. Many credible sources, inside the military and within International Atomic Energy Agency reports, suggest that Iran isn’t building a nuclear weapon, contrary to what many political and media pundits have been reporting. Iran has not preemptively attacked any country in approximately 200 years.
