Series celebrates 50th anniversary

CLINTON, Iowa – The Catholic Sisters of the Upper Mississippi River Valley will host the final part of a lecture series at 2 p.m. April 21.

The lectures commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council of the Roman Catholic Church.

Sister Marlene Weisenbeck will address “The Church in the Modern World: Vatican II’s Challenge for Our Time” at Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace Church, 1105 LaMetta Wynn Drive.
