MAHOMET – Marjorie Keller, 88, of Mahomet, formerly of Anna, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Carle Clinic in Urbana after a short illness.

She was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Beaucoup, the daughter of Mike and Helen (Kult) Liske. She married Freeman Keller on Jan. 27, 1942, and lived in Nashville, Illinois and Rock Falls/Sterling while raising four children. They retired to Anna in 1987. Marjorie enjoyed traveling, square dancing, quilting, the Red Hat Society and a variety of crafts and games.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Lynda) of Duluth, Minn., and Jerry (Alice) of Makanda; a daughter, Eileen (Lance) Noone of Mahomet; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward; her husband, Freeman; and a son, Marvin.  

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, followed by the Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Anna, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be at National Cemetery in Mound City.
