DIXON – Shirley Ann Bridgeman, 67, of Dixon, died Friday Oct. 12, 2012 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

Mrs. Bridgeman was born Aug. 6, 1945, in Dixon, the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret (Josephsen) Jacobs. She married Wesley F. Bridgeman on Aug. 20, 1960 in Clinton, Iowa.He preceded her in death on June 9, 2002.

Shirley was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Dixon Moose Lodge, both of Dixon. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirely was a loving mother, daughter and grandmother and will be most remembered for her warm heart and caring, gentle nature. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she encountered.
