Alexander L. Pierce, 17, of Dixon; 1:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; aggravated battery, theft under $300; taken to Lee County Jail.

Ogle County Sheriff

Ryan M. Voss, 26, of Rochelle; 5:58 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of South Woodlawn Road; driving with a suspended license, no insurance; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Michael D. Tilton, 31, of Rochelle; Thursday; warrants; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Karissa Marsh, 20, of Sycamore; Thursday; possession of cannabis; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Sterling Police

A 13-year-old Sterling boy and three 12-year-old Sterling girls; 8:52 and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Challand Middle School; battery; all released to parents.

12-year-old Sterling boy; 10:17 a.m. Wednesday at Sterling Police Department; runaway, resisting/obstructing a peace officer; released to a parent.

Lupe Swaggerty, 42, of Sterling; 3:08 p.m. Wednesday at East LeFevre Road and Eighth Avenue; no seat belt; given notice to appear in court.

Whiteside County Sheriff

Andrew C. Brown, 21, of Rock Falls; 9:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of 14th Avenue in Rock Falls, after a pursuit that started on Buell Road south of the Interstate 88 overpass, ending in a foot chase; driving under the influence, speeding, aggravated fleeing, attempting to elude; taken to Whiteside County Jail. Aid provided by Rock Falls Police.

State Police

Jessica J. Batley, 23, of Sterling; 12:40 a.m. Tuesday at McNeil Road and Dixon Avenue; driving under the influence, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol; posted driver’s license and $100.

Samantha K. McGuire, 18, of Amboy; 11:06 a.m. Tuesday at state Route 2 and Sauk Road, Lee County; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after striking a vehicle driven by Reilly Q. Roberts, 17, of Dixon. McGuire posted bond. No injuries reported.

Adam F. Brazee, 32, of Rochelle; 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Avenue and Poplar Street, Rochelle; no valid driver’s license; posted driver’s license.

Lindsay J. Lopez, 26, of Sterling; 9:40 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 88, Whiteside County; driving with a suspended license, no insurance, using a cellphone in a construction area; posted I-bond.

Berniece C. Espe, 88, of Rochelle; 10:28 a.m. Thursday at Hemstock Road near state Route 251, Ogle County; improper passing on the right after striking a tractor driven by Jay L. Wathen, 19, of Somonauk as it was turning right into a field. No injuries reported.
