Oralia O. ‘Lolly’ Hernandez

DIXON – Oralia O. “Lolly” Hernandez, 49, of Dixon, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Oregon Health Care Center. She had been employed at several nursing homes as a certified nursing assistant.

Oralia was born Sept. 1, 1963, in Sterling, the daughter of Jose Guadalupe and Soila (Puentes) Olalde. She married Asencion Hernandez on Oct. 23, 1980, in Sterling.

Survivors include her husband and one daughter, Vanessa (Matthew) MacRunnels, both of Dixon; two sisters, Isabell (Ezequiel) Gellegos of Morrison and Rosita (Reyes) Jimenez of Moline; two brothers, Reynaldo Olalde of Colorado and Jose Guadalupe Olalde of Texas; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Victor Hernandez and Jose Guadalupe Hernandez, in infancy.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schiling Funeral Home in Sterling. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling, with the Rev. Juan Ayala officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
