Classes set for homeschool kids

BYRON – Instruction for homeschool students will take the form of bats Friday at the Byron Forest Preserve, 7993 N. River Road.

The two classes for children 6 to 14 are Bats from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Bats, the art class, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Jarrett Center.

The cost of each is $5. Register by noon Oct. 15.

Another activity is for Boy Scouts. Fish and Wildlife Management is for Scouts 10 and older from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 16. The cost is $9. Register before noon Oct. 15.
