Oregon Elementary’s Steele a state Teacher of the Year finalist
OREGON – “Mrs. Steel rocks.”
OK, the spelling may be a bit off, but it’s the admiration in the notes Oregon Elementary School students give fifth-grade science teacher Pam Steele that counts.
Apparently, the Illinois State Board of Education agrees, because Steele is one of nine finalists for Illinois Teacher of the Year.
