Reynolds would have loved if her powerboat-racing senior, who only committed herself to tennis in high school, would have gotten her feet wet in tennis a few years earlier.

"She was a late bloomer," Reynolds said. "If she would have started 3, 4, 5 years earlier, she would dominate. It's scary what level she'd be at now."
