MORRISON – Marvin C. Tervelt, 95, of Morrison, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison. He worked for 35 years at the U.S. Post Office in Morrison until retiring, and then was a director's assistant at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Homes.

Marvin was born Jan. 29, 1917, in Fenton, the son of Lena Tervelt. He married Eleanor J. Holesinger on Feb. 21, 1940, in Morrison. She preceded him in death on Sept. 11, 2007. He was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

Survivors include one daughter, Larinda (Joe Pearson) Tervelt of Avondale Estates, Ga.; three sons, Richard (Bonnie) Tervelt of Burlington, N.C., Ronald (Carole) Tervelt of Clayton, Calif., and Larry (Deb) Tervelt of Loves Park; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
