My wife and I have been married for 22 years, and we have two children, a daughter who is a junior at Prophetstown High School, and a son who is a seventh-grader at Tampico Middle School. We have lived in rural Tampico for the past 19 years.

I believe that being a volunteer builds our community and makes it a great place to live. I have been a director for the Whiteside County Fair for 16 years, the last 12 years as treasurer.

I am a member of the Erie/Prophetstown/Tampico Knights of Columbus, a Morrison Rotarian for 15 years, currently serving as treasurer, a cantor at St. Mary’s Church, Tampico, for more than 10 years, trustee and secretary of the Tampico Fire Protection District, and an Erie/Prophetstown athletic booster.
