Wish-granting agency asks for fundraising help

On behalf of Make-A-Wish Illinois, I encourage local residents to join us on Saturday to help raise up to $1 million to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Just one minute of your time is all it takes to help bring joy and strength to wish kids and their families.

Make-A-Wish Illinois and the no-contract cell phone provider Straight Talk Wireless are working together on this important effort, which concludes Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at select Walmart stores.   

For every person who completes a 1-minute demo of a Straight Talk Wireless Android smart phone, the company will donate $1 – up to $1 million – to Make-A-Wish. We need your help; please think about taking the time to participate.
