Reagan statue donations sought

TAMPICO – Organizers are seeking $18,000 in donations to complete a bronze statue of Ronald Reagan as a boy, to be placed on a cannon in Reagan Park.

Bricks are available for $100, and granite pavers for $1,000, to create a walkway to the Reagan statue. Brick and paver purchase forms are available at the Reagan Birthplace, 111 S. Main St., or by calling Shirley Lester at 815-499-4770.

Donations can be made out to Tampico Historical Society for Reagan fundraiser, and mailed to Tampico Historical Society, Box 154, 119 Main St., Tampico, IL 61283.
