ROCK FALLS – Michael Lavern Browning, 54, of Rock Falls, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at his home. He previously was employed by Rochelle Cold Storage for 15 years.

He was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Rochelle, to Roy L. and Irene F. (Dorrough) Browning. Mike was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Browning of Dixon.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle, with Bishop William Stocks officiating.

Unger-Horner Funeral Home handled cremation rites and arrangements.
