Published: Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 1:15 a.m. CST

DIXON – Kreider Services and Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service will sponsor a free concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St.

The concert is open to the public, and will bring attention to including people with disabilities in all areas of life. The featured performer is Chris Errera, a 4-foot-tall composer and pianist from Chicago who has faced multiple reconstructive leg surgeries, paralysis from the waist down and fused fingers.

Lois Barnhart, Serve Illinois officer at Kreider, will show a public service announcement video featuring Errera and promoting volunteerism, advocacy, and inclusion for people with disabilities.

Email Barnhart at barnhartl@kreiderservices.org or call her at 815-288-6691, ext. 282, for more information.
